We know you have several options to get your taxes done. You can do it yourself, purchase a program such as Turbo Tax, hire a CPA or an independent tax firm or even go to AARP. So why use us?
We know you want the lowest tax rate from the IRS that is legal. The tax laws change every year and they even change just before the season and during the season. How in the world can anyone keep up with these changes? Turbo Tax can’t and neither can an independent. We can because our staff spends all year, and even during the tax season, updating the software. Our software contains all the tax changes as they come out and we check that daily. You can bet on that.
It’s great having the greatest software, but it is just as important having knowledgeable tax preparers using it. Our managers/supervisors keep current on tax law changes by attending seminars throughout the year. In addition, new tax preparers are required to complete a six-week tax course to work through peak season and a 12-week course to stay on through April. Our returning tax preparers are required to complete refresher courses prior to the start of the season. These courses are taught by managers and supervisors.
We know that in the near future the IRS is going to require all tax preparers to be registered by passing a test. We already require all our preparers to pass a test similar to what the IRS is designing. We also provide a drug-free environment in all our offices
